Small dog & great personality

The Cockapoo dogs are adorable, small and have a great personality – intelligent, goofy and smart. You will definitely have a laugh with this one! Although it is not a »pure« dog breed, it is the first designer dog with the longest history. Unlike other hybrid breeds now appearing all over the world, Cockapoo dates back to the 1960s.

People oriented – perfect family or therapy dog

The Cockapoo is completely people-oriented, intelligent and therefore easy to train. You will be swiped away by its loving nature and great companionship. It is very sociable, affectionate and forgiving, which is what makes it a perfect family or therapy dog.

GENERAL characteristics:

– Average Lifespan: 15+ years.
– Hypoallergenic with minimal shedding and therefore best companions for people
struggling with allergies (We still recommend spending some time with a Cockapoo
before deciding to bring it home.)
– Highly intelligent & trainable what makes them perfect friends for life.

– Affectionate, loving and strive to please their owners.
– They are family dogs, loyal and extremely fond to their human pack. They love children.
– Hight: 37 – 45 cm.
– Weight: 7 – 13 kg.
– Has a moderate energy level but still needs daily exercise. Expect to give him at least
15 minutes per day and offer a variety of activities (walks, games, learning tricks,
playing with dog pals etc.).

WHAT'S YOUR TYPE?

There are different types of Cockapoos. It’s something that makes them so diverse:

F1 – First cross. Parents are Spaniel and Poodle. 
F1b – One parent is a Cockapoo and the other parent is either a poodle or a spaniel.
F2 – Both parents are Cockapoos.

At Poodles and Doodles Slovenia we breed F1b and F2 Cockapoo type. Both types of
Cockapoo are related to an American Spaniel.
We also make sure each of our clients chooses the right type of dog. We consider your wishes and understand some people prefer straighter / shaggier coat or more Spaniel / Poodle looking Cockapoo. It is our responsibility to help you choose a dog that will bring you joy and that satisfaction will be both-sided.
