OUR BREEDER MIHA
This is Miha Maleš, our breeder and our best friend. If you want to understand us, you need to get to know him! I like to think I know him the best, since I have lived with him the longest. Oh, and what an exciting life we have! Our paths crossed years ago in Canada when Miha came to choose his dog. I was the chubbiest of them all and pretty shy I would say, but when Miha called “Charlie”, I knew that’s my name. This was my soul mate! This was my person! This was the guy who will guide me through life … and this was the moment that led Miha on a very special path …
More than ten years ago Miha moved to Canada to follow his career in event management. After our paths crossed our family soon became even bigger! We were joined by two wonderful Cockapoo ladies – Zoe and Luna. Miha took us everywhere with him and thought us everything we know today. And boy we know manners! Did I mentioned he worked in event management? He did all kinds of ceremonies, receptions, weddings … you can imagine we were a real party animals!
Our time in Canada was so much fun! It is actually a home of the Cockapoo breed. We made so many new friends, seen so many beautiful places and Miha made sure we were never bored. He is such a fun guy and he made sure we had so many new experiences. It is something we really cherish.
Love is something that you must follow, it is something that we teach people every day. And Miha‘s love for us was just bigger than any other calling. So that is why he decided to bring us all back home in Komenda and dedicate his life to us. We are forever grateful for his decision. It has been three years since he became a professional breeder and also the first breeder od the American Cockapoos in Slovenia. Since than our family became really big! We became the loveliest furry family of Cockapoos, Cavapoos and Poodles. We have created the Poodles & Doodles kingdom in the heart of the beautiful scenery at the foot of Kamnik – Savinja Alps.
There is 12 of us! Oh, and also two monkeys – Freedy and Oli that always make our life a little bit more fun.
Miha is a self-thought professional. Me and my family think of him as hero! He isn’t just a breeder you see! He is a groomer – you should see our haircuts! Curly bangs, mohawk, Viking chick, afro … you name it. We are the stylish Poodles and Doodles you can find. He is also a chef! Seriously, we believe he should get that Michelin star. And not just one! He cooks all variety of foods for us! So that we stay healthy and our fur shinny. He is just a five-star person for us! And we love when he takes us for trips! With Miha it is never just a trip, but an adventure!
Poodles and Doodles are known for their wonderful character. We read emotions and feelings. We understand people and we can adjust to any situation. So, when Miha has a new litter of puppies we know he needs all the support he can get. We become very patient and understanding. And we are happy for the arrival of new puppies who will get to experience this world and share their love with humans.
On the more serious note – Miha really knows how to make sure we are healthy and happy from the moment we first open our eyes. He helps delivering all our puppies, makes sure they eat well, he cuddles them all the time and introduce them to people and other dogs so that they become well socialized. I hear him speak about ethical breeding all the time!
If anything, Miha thought us a dog can grove from love and that it’s a person’s energy that shapes our character! He thought us that our bond with humans can never be broken. It goes the same for you – we teach you how to become a better person, how to bring joy to your life and what is unconditional love.
Families and individuals who take home our puppies become our extended pack! Miha makes sure we stay in touch, share experiences, tips and tricks (which we love the most).
